Trip Report Tuesday - WDW Day 7 Part 2 // Princess' Sweet 16th Birthday Dinner at Epcot + Mother/Daughter Night Out at Disney Springs!

Today I'm thrilled to share the conclusion of my daughter's magical milestone birthday at Disney World!

Day 7 Part 2 - Wednesday, November 29, 2017

Princess' Sweet 16th Birthday

Time for an evening at the Birthday Girl's favorite park, Epcot!

Check out this week's Eat, Sleep, Dis, Repeat video to watch the footage from this ride!

We will forever love this lady's style!

My favorite part of Spaceship Earth

Test Track time!

We create such cool cars, don't we?

Before exiting we couldn't resist these fun photo ops!  You tap your magic band, choose a scene, then give your email address for the photos to be sent to.

Because when it's your Sweet 16th you can have sweets before dinner!  Her request, frozen s'mores! Yum!

For her birthday dinner Princess chose pizza from Via Napoli!  (Remember, if you're staying at a Disney resort you can book your dining reservations 180 days out.  If you're planning a trip I highly recommend snagging those advanced dining reservations asap to ensure that you'll enjoy meals that will add plenty of magic and "Mmm!" to your vacation!)

We were seated at the table closest to the wood-burning ovens.  What a delicious show to watch!

We ordered their largest pizza, a "Mezzo Metro" which is 1/2 meter in size.  We got half Quattro Formaggi (white pizza with mozzarella, parmesan, fontina, and provolone) and half pepperoni.  It was HUGE and scrumptious!

Right out of high school I spent two and a half weeks exploring Europe.  Italy was hands down my favorite of the six countries I toured!  Spending this sweet occasion with my oldest in Italy (pavilion) was a complete delight!

When a monorail pulls up in your favorite color you've gotta get a reflection selfie! ;)

Girls' Night Out!
If you've followed along with previous installments of my Trip Report Tuesday series you may remember that Princess and I have a tradition of spending an evening out just the two of us at Disney Springs.  This trip we chose to enjoy that mother/daughter date on her birthday!

Dessert at her favorite, Ghirardelli!

I went for the Crissy Field Cookie Bits Sundae!  SO good!  It's description is:  Vanilla and Cookies 'n Cream Ice Cream, handmade Hot Fudge, Whipped Cream, Ghirardelli Chocolate Chip Cookie crumbles and two Ghirardelli Milk Chocolate Caramel minis.  I barely made a dent in this massive dessert after our delicious dinner, but I enjoyed every bite I took and left with a happy heart and taste buds!  The Birthday Girl ordered a Painted Ladies Mint Bliss!  "Mint Chocolate Chip and Ghirardelli Chocolate Ice Cream layered with handmade Dark Chocolate Hot Fudge and topped with Whipped Cream and an Intense Dark 72% Twilight Delight Chocolate."  It's probably a good thing we don't have a Ghirardelli in our area!  Everything there is dangerously delicious!

These night shots are a bit blurry, but our evening out together was wonderful!  I cherish these moments so much!

A bus ride later we were back "home" at the Poly.

I loved seeing the lit castle from afar each evening as we walked back to our room!

Thanks so much for stopping by today to hear all about one of my favorite evenings at Disney World!  Recapping it to share here was such a treat!  I hope you enjoyed it and that you'll back for another pixie dusted post next Trip Report Tuesday!
