Five Loves on Friday

Happy Friday, friends!  You know what that means!  It's Five Loves time!

One  //  A Delicious Weekend with my sweet Valentines!

My Valentine's Day wishes were quality time with my three loves (Jason and our girlies), and plenty of  yummy eats for all!  My sweet man made sure that these wishes came true...

Our weekend began with heart shaped donuts!  Pink, chocolate covered, sprinkles and all, they were perfection!

We spent Saturday cozy in our pajamas just relaxing together, until dinner.  Our favorite Thai restaurant is closed on Sundays, so we had to get early Valentine's takeout on Saturday night, of course!  My chicken pad thai and egg rolls absolutely hit the spot!

Sunday we enjoyed a refreshing time in the Word, and after church stopped at one of our favorite pizzerias to snag a couple pies and cinnamon breadsticks.  Delish!

It was as good as weekends get!

Two  //   The most fun that $2.88 can buy!

We're finally getting temps in the 60s here!  A bright new bouncy ball was totally in order!  We are so ready to get out and play, go for family walks, runs, and bike rides, and soak up the sun together!  C'mon springtime!!!

Three  //  We booked our stay at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa!

If you've been following along here or on instagram you probably know that we have been California dreamin' the past several months as we plan our next family vacation.  Our excitement has grown even more as we booked our week stay at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel!  This trip will include a week of touring California, followed by a week at Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure!  I can hardly wait to take in the beauty and magic of it all, and then come right back here and share it with you all!

Five  //  National Chocolate Mint Day!

If you're looking for an excuse to enjoy the decadent combo that is chocolate and mint, you have one!  Today is National Chocolate Mint Day!  Want to try something that checks both of those boxes and is as sweet as you are?  Check out this recipe I created a few years back with my oldest daughter in mind.  She enjoys a good brownie as much as I do, and cannot get enough of all things mint!

Celebrate the holiday right with a pan of this gooey goodness!

  6. Those brownies looks amazing! I wanted to pick up heart donuts for the kids on V-day but we were up in RI where the temps were even colder than in NY at the time so we ended up staying warm inside. I am so excited for your California Disney trip! That hotel looks beautiful! And I too am wishing for some warmer temps so we can do some more outdoor activiti

  12. The California trip looks Ah-mazing! We are not professional disney goers but I did take my littles to Disneyland when we were in Cali one summer and we had the best time. I just booked a trip to Florida and while we are not actually going for Disney I do think my daughter and I are going to see what kind of power day we can plan for some fun. I plan on digging around here for some of your tips for sure!
