Welcome, friends! In today's trip report we'll be covering a fun day of thrill rides, delicious eats, sweet treats, and Disney shopping! Let's get on to the good stuff!
Day 10 - Sunday, September 9, 2018
Hooray for Hollywood (Studios)!
First ride of the day, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster!
After riding as a family, the girls decided to hop back in the super short early morning line to ride again. Jason and I sat outside chatting and awaiting their return.
Next up, Tower of Tower!
And again...
From falling elevators to jumping into hyperspace on Star Tours...
After a thrilling morning we drove to Disney Springs for some grilled and chilled goodness.

Their fries and variety of dipping sauces, along with the main attraction - their juicy burgers, keep us coming back for more each trip!

Time for some shopping!

I simply couldn't resist this Spaceship Earth inspired hat!
When we returned to Animal Kingdom Lodge I decided to sit a bit on a rocking chair just down the hall from our room. I can't let a good opportunity to enjoy a rocking chair go to waste!
Soon I headed back down the hall to our room...
"Little One" and the dino she won earlier in the week spent a bit of the afternoon relaxing out on the balcony.
I spotted a Hidden Mickey in the clouds! Do you see it too? Ears in the back, a round nose sticking out in front, and a mouth at the bottom. :)
When evening rolled around we left AKL for Epcot.
As you walk along the short and beautiful pathway to the parking lot you hear African music playing over (hidden) speakers which adds to the feel of the atmosphere throughout this amazing resort.

Time for another beautiful boat ride through Living with the Land.

Did someone say they'd like a treat in Mexico? I second that!
After a day well spent we headed back to the resort, did a bit of shopping at AKL, then returned to our room with some treats.
