Trip Report Tuesday // WDW Day 9 {Part Two} & What's to Come!

Happy Trip Report Tuesday, sweet readers and cherished Disney loving friends!  First off all, I have to say how tickled I was over the comments I received from some of you that were happy I was stretching out this trip report!  That made my day!  I'm so happy that you enjoy reading these posts as much I love sharing them with you!

Today I'll be covering the second half of our last day at WDW, and will fill you in on what's to come!

Day 9 - Saturday, October 24, 2015 // Part Two

As sad as we all were that it was our last day on Disney property (of this vacation ;)), we were determined to fill it with as much Disney goodness as possible!  That meant a trip to Disney Springs (formerly known as Downtown Disney)!

Disney's Days of Christmas

Marketplace Fun Finds

Look at all those "Precious" Disney dolls! ;)

World of Disney

The Lego Store

Marketplace Co-Op - Cherry Tree Lane

This was the shop that I was MOST looking forward to visiting!  We'd planned, saved, and the long anticipated day when I'd choose a Disney Dooney had arrived!

Each bag is unique, which makes choosing the one in person all the more exciting!  Once I decided on the style I liked best, the Mickey balloons at the top center immediately drew my eyes to this beauty!  Then I noticed the Minnie just below, and as I looked it over it truly had every last detail I'd hoped for (many in duplicate), right there on the front of the bag!  I couldn't stop admiring the placement of this magical print ...and to this day I haven't stopped swooning over it!  As we walked out of Cherry Tree Lane I told Jason, "This is the happiest sad day of my life!"  I was so sad to be leaving WDW, but incredibly delighted to be bringing this loveliness home with me!

Our shopping fun flew by and before long it was time to hop on an Animal Kingdom Lodge bound bus.  Upon arriving back "home", we met a cast member using water and a broom to create the likeness of the mouse who started it all!

We spent our last hour there relaxing and soaking up all the beauty of that incredible lobby!

Sweet Sisters
Side Note:  Notice that Princess is sporting one of her favorite souvenirs of the trip, her Maleficent hoodie!

Then Disney's Tragical Express arrived for us.  I know it looks like the Magical Express, but there's nothing magical about heading AWAY from Disney!

Homeward bound . . .

It's been my pleasure to share our magical memories with you throughout this series!  I look forward to bringing you fresh new Disney trip reports following our first ever trip to Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure this fall!  Meanwhile, I will be putting together some pixie dusted posts focusing on Disney details!  But first, I'll share the contents of the surprise package I shared in this post!  Make sure that you are following along (direct links below) so you won't make a bit of the magic!

  1. The envelope! The envelope! I can't wait! :) Dooney & Bourke purses are so dreamy! I once ran into a woman at Costco with a Disney D&B and I had to stop to tell her it was magical! She was so giddy, you could tell she loved it as any owner would! The woman with her asked her after I walked away, "Is that a special purse or something?" I couldn't help but laugh! What a super special souvenir! I'm so glad you were able to hand pick the perfect one! It's gorgeous!
