Five Loves on Good Friday!

Good morning, sweet readers and cherished friends!  Thank you for stopping by on Good Friday!  Do you know why it's "good"?  ...

One  // GOOD Friday

Not sure why Jesus had to die?  What does it have to do with you anyway?  Check this out:

There is nothing that we could do to earn our salvation.  It is a gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.   All our "righteous deeds" are like filthy rags before a holy God.  Through Him alone can we can have redemption!  Christ willingly shed His spotless blood as the only acceptable payment for the FULL debt of our sins.  He died, was buried, and on the third day rose from the grave, defeating sin and death!  When we repent and place our trust in Christ, we are forgiven and offered eternal life!  That is the GOOD news of Good Friday!

Two  //  Sweet Friends!

Over the weekend we had the great joy of having some dear family friends over for the evening!  The last time they visited we were treated to a homemade chocolate layer cake, this time they brought a DQ Mickey Mouse ice cream cake with them!  The only thing sweeter than the crunchy chocolate layer between that vanilla and chocolate ice cream were the hours we spent together talking, laughing, and enjoying each others' company!  We love you, Graham fam!

Three  //  A Fridge full of Beautiful Eggs

My parents invited the girls over to roll out sugar cookies, bake, and decorate them, and also dye Easter eggs!  They enjoyed such a fun and festive time in Grandma Kathy's kitchen! At the end of the evening they brought home a couple baskets of cuteness.  Eggs taste even better when they've been decorated with such care!

Four  //  Lunch with my Love

Jason had a meeting near home on Wednesday which let out right around noon.  This allowed us the rare and wonderful opportunity to enjoy lunch together!  The extra time with my man was such a treat!

Five  //  Minnie Mouse Cupcakes

Yes, please & thank you!

I saw this cuteness on YouTube this week and couldn't resist including it today as it involves so many of my favorite things - Disney, chocolate, pink, sprinkles, a darling bow!  I mean, really!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Wishing you a beautiful upcoming weekend!  Mine will be spent in awe of the goodness of my Savior!  By grace alone, through faith alone, in the finished work of Christ alone, I stand firm and secure in Him!  That causes my heart to rejoice each and every day of the year!

  9. This reminded me to order my birthday cake and that I need to boil some eggs for dying!! Lunch dates are really the best, I'm super thankful that Chris gets to come home for lunch daily.
