Trip Report Tuesday - WDW Day 9 part 2 // My Youngest's 18th Birthday Evening at Epcot

Welcome back, sweet readers and cherished friends!  I'm looking forward to recapping the second half of my youngest daughter's 18th birthday.  Let's jump right in!

Day 9 - Monday, October 17, 2022

Following the fun little in-room surprise party, storms began brewing outside.  Jason and I went out on the balcony and were treated to quite the show!  Thunder roared around us as the downpour of rain transformed the rooftop above into a rushing waterfall.  We live in the midwest and are very accustomed to nasty thunderstorms, but this was the closest we ever sat to a lightning strike.  The horizontal lightning rod that sits atop the building before us caught a bright bolt!  This was the most exhilarating show we caught all trip!  Ha!  Even Disney World has nothing on the magnificence of God's creation!

Welcome, friends!  I'm so excited to share the sweet deets of an unforgettable celebratory Disney day!  I've decided to break this day into two parts, so your eyes won't get too tired.  Let's get right to the great start of this magical day!

Valentine Wishes and Post Plans

Hello, sweet readers and cherished friends!  Time and energy aren't allowing me to finish my next trip report in time for Trip Report Tuesday this week.  I could rush to complete and publish it, but this particular post is one I'd prefer to take my time on and savor the process of putting together as it will be filled with memories that I hold close to my heart.  Lord willing, I'll be back with it this time next week sharing all the sweet deets from my youngest's 18th birthday at WDW.  Meanwhile, I didn't want to pass up the opportunity to wish you a Happy Valentine's Day!  If I could, I'd pass a heart shaped plate filled with goodies galore to you through the screen. :)  Wishing you a day filled with simple pleasures, sweet treats, and time to reflect on the blessings in your life that make your heart light!

Trip Report Tuesday - WDW Day 8 // A Leisurely Disney Day and Late Night Dole Whips at the Beach Watching the Electric Water Pageant

Welcome back, sweet friends!  This may be the shortest trip report I've ever put together.  I took fewer pics as we spent much of the day relaxing and relishing the atmosphere of the resort and parks we visited.  I do have enough to capture this Disney day though, and I'm looking forward to preserving those memories and sharing them with you now.

Day 8 - Sunday, October 16, 2022

Good morning from our balcony at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort!  On this sweet mid-October Sunday morn my heart was happy to be sitting beside my hubby while the resort and I were both dressed in his favorite color.  It's the little things!
