Five Loves on Friday!

Happy Friday, friends!  Hope your week has been fabulous!  I'm excited to share some highlights from mine with you all now ... Five Loves Time!

{1.}  Christmas package from my BBF {Best Bloggy Friend}!

LOVE the Cork Monogram as much as I do?  Check out a tutorial at her blog, Adventures in DIY!

My BBF, Chrissy, made me the most incredible gifts!!  She's the BEST!  I'm so thrilled to have this handmade cork monogram on my bookshelf now!  If you think that's personalized, you would not believe the scrapbook she handcrafted!  I was in {happy} tears as I looked through the snapshots from my family's recent WDW trip put together with so much creativity and care!  This totally deserves a FULL post itself, so please stop by in a few days for a Magical Monday post dedicated to a detailed look through this fantastic gift!  You may pick up some ideas for your next scrapbook too! ;)  Lastly, some Disneyland goodies she saved for me! *Happy sigh*  My heart is full! Love ya, Chrissy!  Thanks again!!

{2.}  Celebrating Princess!

Jason wasn't feeling the best on Princess' birthday, so while we did a lot of celebrating, we didn't go out for that special birthday meal of her choice.  Last weekend we surprised her with this party for our tummies.  She chose shrimp and noodles cooked on a mongolian grill at her favorite chinese buffet.  The conversation and evening shared as a family was even better than the delicious eats!

{3.} Elf Glasses!

Early Christmas Gift from my parents!  Love them! {...my parents & the glasses ;)}

{4.}  Narnia

My mother-in-law, Lou Ann, invited the girls and I to join her and my nephew at a homeschool outing on Wednesday.  We enjoyed a children's theater production of "Narnia".  They did a terrific job with the show in portraying a story that mirrors the heart of why we celebrate Christmas.  Aslan, like Christ, laid down his life for the lawbreaker who was deserving of death. {see #5}  It was beautifully done and this "field trip" will be a long cherished memory for years to come!  Afterward, we took lunch to my sis in law's and had a great time with her and my cute lit'l {officially 9 month old} niece.  Moments with family are always so sweet. :)  Thanks again for treating us to such a lovely day, Lou Ann!

{5.}   One of my favorite Christmas songs:

  13. I LOVE those Elf glasses! I found an Elf shirt with Buddy that says, "The best way to spread Christmas cheer is by singing loud for all to hear!" in a random place while Black Friday shopping last year. I couldn't find any on a rack in the store, so I was SO happy to know it was my son's size! It was PERFECT! We LOVE Elf! :)
